It is important that you attend this meeting so that you are aware of the
changes being made by YBOA.There is a major problem that has been occurring for
the past few years that has been upsetting a number of teams that will be
addressed at this meeting.The problem is,some teams have either been "NO
SHOWS " or want to change to another Tournament after committing to play in a
certain Tournament.The changes are mainly due to another organization constantly
changing their tournament dates.I and a number of teams feel that it is not fair
that we are constantly being required to adjust our schedules when the problem was
not created by YBOA.So that this does not happen in the future,the following
procedure will occur :
1.There will be no refunds or transfers to another tournament once the
tournament fee is received.
2.Any team that is a "NO SHOW" without prior notification will be suspended
from future participation for the remainder of the season.
So,I urge you,if there is the least bit of concern that the YBOA schedule might
conflict with the schedule of another organization-MAKE YOUR DECISION AS
TO WHERE YOU WANT TO PLAY BEFORE SENDING IN YOUR ENTRY FEE !!!!!

EARNING POINTS TO QUALIFY FOR STATE TOURNAMENT
There will be five(5)State Qualifying Tournaments in each age division throughout the State of Virginia.
Teams will be allowed to play in as many of these tournaments as they want(In order to qualify for the State Tournament,you must play in a minimum of two(2)of the tournaments).Every time a team plays in a
tournament,they will earn points.Points will be awarded as follows :
1st =25pts. 6th =20pts. 11th =15pts. 16th =10pts. 21st =5pts.
2nd =24pts. 7th =19pts. 12th =14pts. 17th = 9pts. 22nd =4pts.
3rd =23pts. 8th =18pts. 13th =13pts. 18th = 8pts. 23rd =3pts.
4th =22pts. 9th =17pts. 14th =12pts. 19th = 7pts. 24th =2pts.
5th =21pts. 10th=16pts. 15th =11pts. 20th = 6pts. 25th =1pt.
The teams with the most points will advance to the State Tournament.Only your two(2)best finishes will be used in your total points.Teams participating in more than two(2)tournaments will receive one(1)
additional point for each tournament over two(2).This helps eliminate ties.They are also eligible to participate in the "JACKPOT".
Teams from other States will be allowed to participate in these tournaments but will not earn points.Virginia teams will not lose points if a team from another State finishes higher.
